Project Overview:
Safety improvements for the 12th Street project are designed to improve safety for pedestrians and motorists. DDOT will be replacing streetlights and upgrading traffic signals

Recent News:
As part of a multi-faceted facelift to the 12th Street Corridor in Northeast DC, the District Department of Transportation will replace all traffic lights on 12 Street NE, between Rhode Island and Michigan Avenue NE and on Monroe Street NE between 9th and 12th Street NE. This project is part of a city-wide effort to provide a safer commute for DC residents and commuters.
